Flash File Recovery is a multimedia recovery tool for Windows. It not only can recover images, but it can also salvage videos and other types of files.

The trial version of this app allows you to scan any device that is currently connected to your PC. After Flash File Recovery finished scanning your drives, it will show you a preview of all the files that can be recovered. You can't restore or copy those files to your hard drive without buying the application though. I like this, mainly because you are able to tell if the application will work for your specific needs.

If you are scanning large drives, be prepared to wait. Scanning a full hard drive can take hours. Flash drives are generally quite faster than that.
